Sooo Yuki is officially a teenager. And for the 11th year in a row, we maxed out the server during our New Year's Event! That's wild lol.
This year was a year of reconstruction. Not just for Yuki, but for our other projects as well.
GModCEFCodecFix became GModPatchTool.
GModHealth made it to stable status and was officially launched.
We created the Discord #project-commits channel so you can follow along with everything we do the moment we do it, our web servers all merged into one, we improved how we build and deploy updates, and our work continued on building YukiTheater.
All of this was made possible by you guys. After 13 years, we still have a community of great people who enjoy our work, support us, and still believe in us and our projects.
We are incredibly grateful and thankful we have you, and we hope that you'll continue to stick around to see what's next!
Looking to the future, in the short term, we have a few things planned, all for YukiTheater:
- Map v3 Beta8
- Finishing what we wanted to have in Beta7, including a lot of missing detail, Bathrooms, cubemap reflections, etc
- Bowling Alley / Arcade
- We're going to start with Bowling
- Arcade cabinets will come later
- Eight Ball will also be in this location
- All games in the Bowling Alley will be playable at the same time as watching Media (for the first time!)
- Media Service refresh
- There's been some issues with some services lately that need reviewing
- We want to add more services, some of which will be for non-English speakers (like Bilibili)
- Chalkwall + Power Supporter Credits
- If you've paid close attention, since Map v3 Beta6c, there's been a chalkboard behind the logo art on the second floor of the Lobby
- We want to make it so players can draw on the chalkboard, even with real drawing tablets
- Maybe it'll even be visible on the website at some point
- Obviously there will be moderation on it
