macOS’s Console.app. Not Terminal

Using addons for what?

When you launch GMod after applying the fix, does macOS's Console.app say anything? There should also be a file called chromium.log in GMod's install that should have more info

What version of macOS are you on specifically?

This was fixed as part of the move to Olympus and the playermodel rework we did...because we don't have Mega Man Zero anymore lol

If it's complaining about .lua files being missing, that doesn't sound like a CEF issue. That sounds like your GMod install is just corrupt. Try Steam > Garry's Mod > Properties > Local Files > Verify Integrity, wait for it to finish, then reapply GModCEFCodecFix.
